∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA)
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ BA/ B.Sc/ M.Sc in Fashion Design Technology.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Graphics Designing Course,Saree Designing Course
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fashion Designing, Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan all Saree design activities; suggest required changes and modifications, creating an idea and producing a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD).
∎ Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes.
∎ Planning and developing ranges.
∎ Creating trend tech packs and moodboards for our own Saree collection.
∎ Working with others to develop to meet a brief.
∎ Liaising closely with the marketing and merchandising team to create ranges for all customers.
∎ Understanding Saree design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs.
∎ Creating latest Saree designs, mood-boards, swatches as per prevailing customer demand, manufacturing capabilities and organizational standards.
∎ Liaise with respective product development team in factory to create final sample.
∎ Research and explore opportunities for new customer relationship building and new-market entry; conduct meetings to pitch organization value proposition, showcase capability, arrange factory tours and resolve queries to enable end-to-end customer management.
∎ Research yarn, fabric, dyes and associated accessories trends in market along with sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments.
∎ Identify optimal sources of raw materials procurement based on cost, quality and technological adaptability with machines.
∎ Negotiating with customers and suppliers.
∎ Any other responsibility assign by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to Saree design for a variety of categories along with catalog design for presentation.
∎ Experience in graphic design and graphic involves in promotes for Saree marketing.
∎ Fluent in speaking and writing English.
