Fashion Design, Fashion Designing in any reputed local fashion brand, Leather industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create seasonal trend and concept boards, ensuring that there's a pipeline of new products for our customer
∎ Design original placement graphics and AOP prints for all product categories
∎ Demonstrate a good understanding of the different 'handwriting' requirements between global customers and markets.
∎ Work closely with customers to design their respective categories based on the design direction given
∎ Create artwork with trending Fashion.
∎ Development of new creative leather products.
∎ Maintain aesthetic and design that is on-brand throughout all design work
∎ Research seasonal fashion trend direction, assortment opportunities, current market trends in leather decoration processes for art locations & techniques and adopts new art/technique concepts accordingly into technical skillset.
∎ Work closely with Product Design and Sampling teams to produce trend-driven/updated artworks within specified deadlines
∎ Develop complete tech packs in coordination with the customer's demand, including detailed specifications, fabrications, leathers, and technical drawings.
∎ Ensure technical execution to include drawings, including measurements, color pantones, and design detail specifications of all illustrative art.
∎ Ensure sizing, formatting art files, and sending to factories for development.
∎ Responsible for tech packs maintenance, tracking changes/additions, and clear timely communication with cross-function partners across international production managers, the technical design team.
∎ Maintain thorough knowledge of current and past assortment. Including decoration techniques, silhouettes, Leathers/fabrics, and design details.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years' relevant work experience with fashion design related graphics and prints/AOP
∎ Solid knowledge and experience in repeats, print separations and all print major techniques is required
∎ Knowledge of the apparel retail industry, marketing principles, and product development process
∎ Must have experience with mood boards, drawing/sketching, ideation, tech pack production, digital product creation and visual presentation development
∎ Should have outstanding visual design skills in typography, composition, illustration, branding, and layout
∎ Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, clo 3d design software.
∎ Fascination and familiarity with current trends, culture, and design in fashion
∎ Must be up to date with trendy verbiage and prints
∎ Ability to multitask and prioritize work on a continual basis
∎ Must be a self-starter with strong initiative and hard work ethic
∎ Strong software abilities on any Leathers & Fabrics Clothing Design Software(C-Design Fashion, CLO 3D, Digital Fashion Pro, EFI OPTITEX, etc.) Adobe CS6 Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign as well as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
∎ Superior attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Should be well-presented, smart, and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English.
