Additional Requirements:
- At least 1 or 2 years of experience in the fashion industry, with a strong portfolio of designs, particularly in modest wear such as Hijabs, Abayas, Borkhas, and Gowns.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD)
- A solid understanding of fabric types and their applications.
- Excellent sketching and conceptualization skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Design Development: Create innovative and fashion-forward designs for Hijabs, Borkhas, Abayas, Gowns, and other modest wear items based on market trends and customer preferences.
- Trend Research: Stay up to date with the latest trends in modest fashion and apply them to product designs.
- Fabric Selection: Work closely with fabric suppliers to select high-quality materials suitable for each design.
- Sketching and Prototyping: Develop sketches, patterns, and prototypes of designs to present to the design team and management.
- Collaborative Work: Work alongside production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that designs are brought to life and meet brand standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all designs meet the brand’s quality standards and are comfortable and functional for customers.
- Client Interaction: Occasionally meet with clients or stakeholders to understand their design requirements and translate them into feasible fashion pieces.
