∎ Advanced level of communication, Analytical ability, Problem solving and Reporting.
∎ Production planning, Production process & Procurement system, Inputs need assessment, utilization and preservation, Pest & Cost control, Policy formulation & people management.
∎ Handling with adverse situations. Relationship building with concern people, Activities done by prioritizing.
∎ Strategic planning, budgeting and independent decision making
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare yearly budget according to vested target & make a comprehensive action plan for implementing of Inbred Rice Seed Production activities.
∎ Provide technical & logistic support to concern people as need and evaluating & monitoring of ongoing activities to ensure the targeted production.
∎ Ensure all inputs for implementation of seed production activities and ensure proper use and maintenance of all kinds of materials and resources.
∎ Staff development by meeting, training, coaching and ensure accountability of staffs.
∎ Take necessary step to maintain seed quality with genetic purity (at least 98%) through conducting rouging, Isolation and post-harvest activities properly.
∎ To keep conversion loss at expected level in raw seed procurement & process loss maximum 3% at SPC level of produced / procured seeds at different seasons.
∎ Timely reporting to SCA for ensuring seed certification in order to purchase / procure of targeted seed.
∎ All types of official documents update, reporting to the legal authority and record keeping accordingly.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
