∎ Able to handle multitasking activities.
∎ Should have knowledge on international market to take challenge to look after foreign procurement.
∎ Analytical ability & negotiation skills.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Computer literacy.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Issuing import and export letters of credit and accepts payments: Notifying importers of issuance of letters of credit covering shipment of products.
∎ Preparing and reviewing letter of credit documents to determine compliance with international standards.
∎ Verifying terms of credit, such as amount, insurance coverage, and shipping conditions to determine compliance with established standards.
∎ Coordinating import shipment activities, including customs clearance and documentation
∎ Sourcing supplier(s) ensuring effective procurement of, quality materials with competitive price by way of effective negotiation and obtain management approval of each consignment.
∎ Coordinating with C & F agents, insurance, transport and all other parties which are directly and indirectly involved with import.
∎ Preparing CS/proposal and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
∎ Preparing deed of agreements in connection to a series of specific procurement covering a certain span of time or a future procurement towards protection of companies interest.
∎ Formulating procurement plan for raw materials and chemicals for maintaining uninterrupted production in the factories.
