Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from any reputed govt./private institutions
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be familiar with the required items for purchase and their market availability
∎ Prepare Purchase order as per approval purchase indent
∎ Ensure materials are purchased by sending orders to suppliers and follow up to until delivery
∎ Ensure materials received are verified with the purchase order and confirm to the supplier and to warehouse
∎ Track and monitor all costs related information to local purchase and ensure payment is made such that materials are available as per time committed
∎ Receive new items from sourcing and send the samples or documents to Head office or supplier as required
∎ Receive information from warehouse on stock position and ensure delivery as per demand date
∎ Study and compare suppliers' price and quality while preparing purchase and obtain recommendations from suppliers for mentioned items and complete approvals by the requisitioning department head
∎ Negotiate delivery time with suppliers to ensure materials are dispatched as per agreed ETD
∎ Verify received items by comparing the purchase order
∎ Document, Track and Maintain a database of all orders updated and disseminate periodic reports
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates having 1-2 years experience may be given preference
∎ Good working knowledge of MS Excel
∎ Ability to build relationships with suppliers
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Ability to work independently
