Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare material requirement planning to ensure availability of materials for SPB manufacturing
∎ Prepare and maintain economic re-order level for all raw materials
∎ Maintain order processing of imported raw materials by calculating lead time and days coverage with existing stock.
∎ Ensure on-time delivery with desired quality of imported raw materials from supplier's end to meet desired ETA in view of uninterrupted production for SPB manufacturing.
∎ Identify suitable suppliers and negotiate the best price/ cost and effective payment terms for the RM's procured without compromising the quality & specifications.
∎ Regularly monitor supplier's performance, build and maintain good business relationships with preferred suppliers.
∎ Issue PO (Purchase Order) to suppliers & PO cleansing regularly. Ensure on-time LC/CAD/TT establishment against pertinent PI.
∎ Ensure compliance with procurement activities as per ISO 9001 requirement and company policy. Ensure supplier evaluation to meet QMS requirements.
∎ Source development is a continuous process for new products as well as alternative sources for existing products, with no single supplier dependency.
∎ Prepare monthly inventory as per physical stock (RM sheet).
∎ Identify the best suppliers and negotiate the best price without compromising specifications & quality.
∎ Develop, maintain & upgrade database of sourcing and updating existing vendor/supplier information. Update information of the market, Price of material, new development of a product, and alternate sources.
∎ Ensure continual improvement of self and development of work process/system.
∎ Prepare & assist commercial team for on-time LC (Banking), Insurance, Customs clearance & Transportation of pertinent consignments from port to plants (end to end procurement and commercial service works).
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s) of experience in Supply Chain
∎ Knowledge and understanding of Quality, Inventory Management, Material Handling, Computer Applications, VAT regulations, ISO 9001 and 14001.
