Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Communicate with local suppliers & purchase FMCG Raw Materials(RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) (Like Carton, Paper Pack and Foil pouch etc.) as per requirements.
∎ Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules, and quality.
∎ Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
∎ Implement supplier lists, price lists, conduct price controls, market research and consolidate orders.
∎ Having sound knowledge on modern supply chain management.
∎ Receive new items from sourcing and send the samples or documents to Head office or supplier as required.
∎ Receive information from warehouse on stock position and ensure delivery as per demand date.
∎ Verify received items by comparing the purchase order.
∎ Follow up the supplier for ensuring delivery on time.
∎ Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production.
∎ Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement.
∎ Document, Track and Maintain a database of all orders updated and disseminate periodic reports.
∎ Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages.
∎ Any other task assigned by management.
