Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure adherence to schedule of machining and fabrication of equipment
∎ Ensure to minimize workshop breakdown
∎ Ensure minimize of costing of spares in workshop
∎ Ensure proper Planning & Procurement of Spares by making PR (purchase requisition) Timely
∎ Manage and organize CNC roll turning, CNC notching, general lathe machine, Surface grinder, Shaper, Drill machine etc. & Maintaing all equipment related to workshop
∎ Ensure Planning / Scheduling of roll grooving/roll dressing as per rolling/production plan
∎ Ensure stand assembly and guide assembly as required for production
∎ Ensure proper servicing of roll stand cartridges, Bearing load zone changing, and roller guides for smooth mill operation
∎ Monitor and Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and procedures at Workplace Compliance to ISO, QMS & EMS standards and requirements
∎ Maintain & fulfill ERP procedures in Oracle system.
