Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Electronic Engineering from BUET, RUET, KUET, CUET, or other reputable institutions.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and maintain PLC/DCS programs, including program upload/download and fault finding through online program checking.
∎ Troubleshoot PLC/DCS system hardware issues and ensure proper functioning of the systems.
∎ Interpret and analyze process P&ID, PFD, HAZOP, LOPA, and electrical control wiring schemes to understand system requirements.
∎ Possess a comprehensive understanding of different types of process field instruments, perform calibration, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
∎ Apply knowledge of control loops, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, DCS, and PLC to optimize process monitoring and control.
∎ Set up different PID controllers and fine-tune control loops to achieve desired process performance.
∎ Execute field instrument calibration procedures accurately and efficiently.
∎ Plan and implement modifications or upgrades to PLC/DCS programs to enhance process monitoring and control capabilities.
∎ Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for maintenance and repairs.
∎ Prepare daily reports for the Head of Department, documenting activities, findings, and recommendations.
∎ Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under stress and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all electrical job activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 4-5 years of experience in Automation and DCS systems in Oil Refinery/Chemical Industries.
∎ Good knowledge of Oil Refinery process safety.
∎ Strong communication skills.
∎ Effective team leadership abilities.
∎ Physical fitness for working at heights of approximately 50 meters.
∎ Proactive problem-solving skills.
∎ Detail-oriented and precise in work.
∎ Flexibility for rotational shifts and weekend/holiday work.
∎ Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills.
