Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from any reputed institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Uses scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes
∎ Designs, proposes, implements, reviews, and corrects plans to ensure company goals are achieved
∎ Observes production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality
∎ Provides chemical design of required raw materials, technical analysis, and resolution of Testing & Engineering problems.
∎ Develops manufacturing processes that minimize waste and increase the quality of finished products
∎ Monitors and test processes and products found in all phases of production
∎ Develops and implement safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials
∎ Travels to work sites and locations to learn about project needs and design
∎ Assists with establishing budgets and timelines
∎ Checks the quality of raw materials & finished goods to identify whether any discrepancies is happened.
∎ Ensures proper monitoring & follow up routine testing activity and production process activity along with schedule maintenance. Including break down maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance etc. of process machinery.
∎ Ensures periodic and schedule maintenance & Calibration of all Chemical equipment/apparatus of the testing and production process.
∎ Prepares necessary reports, keeps record of process & testing activity.
∎ Looks after all necessary purchase requisition of Chemicals, equipment and required raw materials.
∎ Verifies the QC report to pinpoint quality consciousness of Production process.
∎ Checks & verifies manufacturing, processing, refining, or converting chemicals.
∎ Maintains integrity and confidentiality whenever investigations are conducted to ensure fairness & transparency.
∎ Processes excellent knowledge of Chemical Testing & Process Engineering.
∎ Discharges any work assigned by higher authority as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Proven work experience as a Chemical Engineer or similar role in industry.
∎ Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background.
∎ Computer literacy to run simulations and conduct ongoing research.
∎ Exceptional problem solving and project management skills.
∎ Relevant training and/or certifications as a Chemical Engineer will have added advantage.
∎ Excellent communication skill in Bangla and English is must.
