Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA / Master Degree in any discipline from any reputed Public/ Private University. Professional degree/ training in C & F Management will be an added advantage.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Clearing,Freight forwarding
∎ Skills Required: Clearing, Export/ Import through L/C
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Clearing and Forwarding, Export Commercial, Freight Forwarding/ C&F, Import Commercial
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Chemical Industries, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Steel
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Hands on experience in Customs Clearing & Forwarding, Port Clearance, freight forwarding, export and import processes, Custom Duty calculations and detailed knowledge about H.S. Code etc.
∎ Thorough knowledge about the Import / Export policies, Rules & Regulation of Port, Govt. Gazettes and SRO(s) and delivery status.
∎ Responsible to execute, co-ordinate, monitor and manage export/import works of steel and chemicals consignments.
∎ Co-ordinate in synchronization with Government Officials, Banks, Freight Forwarders, Transport for clearing Export/Import consignments by Sea
∎ To execute, Monitoring shipment, Documentation and fast Customs Clearance of goods from the ports.
∎ To monitor and update customs formalities, entries in pass book in the port.
∎ Maintain close relationships with customs authorities, port authorities, Shipping / Forwarding Agent offices, and other related trade bodies/ stakeholders.
∎ Dealing with shipping lines & Freight Forwarders.
∎ Dealing and managing the logistics from port to factory/ plant site.
∎ Maintain and keep records of all the literature, Brochure of imported material, which is required by the Customs & Licensing Authority at the time of assessment and Physical verification of the material at the time of delivery from the port.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must have minimum 8 years work experience in Clearing & Forwarding, Freight Forwarding and other related works.
∎ Documentation knowledge for clearing the Imported goods from customs
∎ Documentation knowledge for forwarding the Exported goods
∎ H.S code and its application
∎ Bill of Entry, Bill of Exchange (B/E), Bill of Lading (B/L), Bill of Export
∎ SRO, SWIFT, UCP-600, HAB, MAWB, PSI, ICD, LCL & FCL Cargo, IGM & EGM
∎ Assessable Value & Invoice value, Tax Holiday & Duty Drawback, INCOTERMS, Commercial, Banking, Customs and Shipping terms knowledge
∎ Tariff of Import and Export goods
∎ Export Incentive,
∎ Pre- shipment inspection & Post shipment Inspection,
∎ Proficient in SAP MM module is must.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
∎ Dynamic & Self-motivated with high personal integrity and loyalty.
∎ Able to work under pressure and handle multitasking activities.
∎ Standard computer proficiencies.
∎ Good persuasion & communication skills.
