Job Responsibilities:
∎ Serve as the subject matter expert in dredging operations, including equipment selection, sediment transport, environmental considerations, and dredge material management.
∎ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, environmental specialists, and contractors to plan and execute dredging projects in compliance with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards.
∎ Conduct thorough site assessments to determine sediment characteristics, hydrodynamic conditions, and potential challenges for efficient and effective dredging.
∎ Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and plans related to dredging equipment, hydraulic systems, and sediment handling methodologies.
∎ Analyze sediment data, hydrographic surveys, and bathymetric information to design optimal dredging strategies that balance project goals and environmental protection.
∎ Provide guidance on equipment deployment, positioning, and maintenance during dredging operations.
∎ Monitor and assess dredging progress, ensuring that production rates and material quality align with project objectives.
∎ Collaborate with environmental experts to design and implement sediment containment and disposal measures that minimize impacts on aquatic ecosystems.
∎ Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation related to dredging activities.
∎ Stay current with advancements in dredging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments to recommend innovative approaches for project enhancement.
∎ Provide technical support to client meetings, regulatory agencies, and public forums to address questions and concerns related to dredging projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 Years of Total experience including at least 10 Years in dredging requirements, dredging quantity analysis, dredging procedure and dredging related issues.
