Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive drama curricula aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) standards.
∎ Plan, organize, and conduct dynamic drama lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students across different age groups and proficiency levels.
∎ Foster a creative and supportive learning environment that encourages students to explore and express their ideas, emotions, and perspectives through various theatrical forms and techniques.
∎ Incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, including improvisation, role-play, scriptwriting, ensemble work, and performance analysis, to enhance students' critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Assess students' progress and performance through ongoing formative assessments, summative evaluations, and constructive feedback, ensuring individualized support and differentiation as needed.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to enhance interdisciplinary connections and enrich the overall educational experience through cross-curricular projects, performances, and community events.
∎ Stay abreast of current trends, developments, and best practices in drama education, integrating new technologies, resources, and pedagogical approaches to continually enhance the quality and relevance of instruction.
∎ Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity, promotes empathy, and fosters mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation for different cultural, social, and historical perspectives reflected in dramatic literature and performance.
∎ Organize and facilitate extracurricular activities, such as drama clubs, workshops, rehearsals, productions, and participation in local, national, and international drama festivals and competitions, to further nurture students' passion for drama and showcase their talents.
∎ Uphold professional standards of conduct and ethics, demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development, and actively contribute to the school community through participation in faculty meetings, committees, and other collaborative initiatives aimed at school improvement and student success.
∎ Employee need to accommodate on School campus located at Mawna, Gazipur.
