Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coming up with a core meal plan for general patients, for special requests or for critical needs.
∎ Acting in the role of counselor and thus sustaining patient morale.
∎ Maintaining documentation from aides and management as a daily routine
∎ Keeping track of what has or hasn't worked for a client, which is crucial to providing proper meals later on.
∎ Conducts nutrition consultations.
∎ Keeps detailed clients records.
∎ Helps clients set and reach their health goals.
∎ Advises clients on healthy nutrition practices.
∎ Develops customized meal plans and grocery lists.
∎ Meets with clients regularly to track their progress.
∎ Uses common practice management software.
∎ Handles scheduling and billing when needed.
∎ Uploads electronic health records (EHR).
∎ Collaborates with a clients doctors and nurses.
∎ Stays up to date on nutrition research.
∎ Follows the organization's policies and procedures.
