• Strong Linux administration experience with Ubuntu, Debian, or CentOS

• Bash scripting

• Git and Git-based workflows

• Practical CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools

• Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus

• MQTT and IoT architecture: device → gateway/edge → cloud

• Backend/API fundamentals; Laravel or Node.js preferred

• Networking basics including DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, firewalls, and reverse proxy

• Relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL; MongoDB is a plus

• Production troubleshooting and ownership mindset

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application, firmware, and edge software releases, including automated builds and deployments.

• Manage Linux servers/VPS and cloud infrastructure with cybersecurity controls, including Nginx/Apache, SSL/TLS, firewall, SSH, networking, and access management.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and containerization using open-source tools such as Terraform and Ansible, along with Docker and Kubernetes/K3s where required.

• Deploy and manage IoT infrastructure and messaging systems, including MQTT brokers such as Mosquitto, device provisioning, connectivity, identity, fleet health, and OTA/firmware deployment.

• Integrate and operate industrial IoT devices and systems, including Modbus RTU/TCP, ESP32/ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, relays, industrial controllers, sensors, and actuators.

• Deploy and monitor IoT backends and real-time dashboards using Laravel, Node.js, or similar technologies, with monitoring, logging, alerting, data quality, message throughput, and device uptime tracking.

• Ensure secure and reliable multi-site production operations through authentication, certificates, secrets management, database encryption, troubleshooting, automation, backups, scaling, documentation, and collaboration with development, firmware, and hardware teams.
