Responsibilities & Context:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, fabrics, and new techniques.
- Plan and develop collections based on seasonal themes.
- Manage the entire design process from concept to final styling.
- Ensure all designs align with the brand's strategy and target market.
- Stay updated with evolving trends in fashion, color, and textiles.
- Create technical design specifications and supervise sample garment creation.
- Utilize in-house fabrics to develop design ideas.
- Strategize and plan collections around seasonal and festive themes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising, and Production teams to align product lines.
- Visit trade shows and vendors to source materials and trims.
- Supervise fitting sessions and make necessary garment adjustments.
