Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion design, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion design
∎ Tertiary level education with good academic track record, from reputed local or foreign educational institution is preferred.
∎ Skills Required: Ability to communicate effectively, Ability to work collaboratively with cross function, Ability to Work Under Pressure, Team player

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working in a fast pace, high volume design/development studio in BD & China, incumbent will be responsible for developing best-selling styles for Men's casual Knits & woven, specifically denim.
∎ Developing different collections throughout the year that must be trend-led and tailored towards this company's current customer base. Need to have knowledge on seasonal trend forecast and use them as commercial product.
∎ Will be responsible for sourcing and developing fabrics and trims as per customer specifications. Need to have proper knowledge on fabric, accessories and trims.
∎ The role will include some overseas travel to the factories for development, fabric & trim sourcing, shopping research trips and client meetings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Should have extensive experience of designing Men's Formalwear, casualwear, specifically Shirts, T-shirts bottoms, across denim, plus casual, Knits and washed woven.
∎ Knowledge of wash techniques for bottoms, especially denim is essential
∎ Need to have an understanding of garment costing & product technical calculations.
∎ Ideally need to have experience of designing for the Bangladesh & ASEAN market. If not then candidate's experience must be designing for major UK/European retail groups.
∎ Must be able to demonstrate longevity of career
∎ Team leadership/management of both product and designers is essential
∎ Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills are essential in this fast paced role
∎ Strong sketching, graphics and CAD skills are essential
Salary: Negotiable
