Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Calculate loads & stresses and analyze in software for Steel Structure Design for Plant, Warehouse, Buildings, Factories, Canopy etc.
∎ Drafting the drawing of steel structure.
∎ Provide the technical advice to engineers for safety during construction.
∎ Raise requisition of construction materials with Specification(s) as and when required.
∎ Conduct analysis on materials test reports and review the design and specifications accordingly.
∎ Plan and/or follow regulations for statutory approval.
∎ Maintain liaison with Machine Supplier(s) and other concerned department to ensure proper coordination.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge on BNBC, NFPA, ACI, ASTM etc.
∎ Clear concept on loading condition (Static, dynamic, especially on machine foundation & deep foundation with its behavior etc).
∎ Strong knowledge on structural analysis.
∎ Clear concept on manual calculation for analysis & design (Bolt & Weld design, connection design etc).
∎ Enough knowledge on industrial structures (Single shed, mezzanine floors & joint detailing etc)
∎ Knowledge on ETABS, SAFE, STAAD-PRO, Auto-CAD & all other related design software.
∎ Experience in industrial sector will be added as an advantage.
∎ Enlistment in IEB & RAJUK is must.
