Responsibilities & Context:
∎ § Chiller System Design & Selection:
∎ Design and size chiller systems (air-cooled and water-cooled) based on project requirements. Select appropriate compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, and refrigerants.Optimize system efficiency for energy savings and performance.
∎ § Technical Analysis & Load Calculations:
∎ Perform cooling load calculations using software like HAP, TRACE, or similar tools. Analyze heat transfer, fluid flow, and thermodynamic properties for system efficiency.
∎ § Equipment Specification & Compliance:
∎ Prepare detailed technical specifications and ensure compliance with ASHRAE, AHRI, and local standards. Work closely with manufacturers to validate performance parameters.
∎ § Project Coordination & Documentation:
∎ Collaborate with sales, execution, and procurement teams to support project planning. Develop technical documentation, including drawings, datasheets, and manuals. Support in the preparation of BOQs and technical proposals.
∎ § Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
∎ Assist in resolving design-related challenges during installation and commissioning. Provide technical support to sales and service teams for customer queries.
