Education: - Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
- MBA in Human Resource Management from a reputed university.
Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Professional qualification from a recognized Human Resources professional body.
- 12 years of experience of which 5 years in a similar role preferably in a reputed public or private university.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgements on sensitive, confidential issues.
- Ability to provide on-the-job and technical guidance and training to staff.
- Sound knowledge on KPI and TNA and its implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communications skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Position: Deputy Registrar (HR)
Job description/Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Human Resources Management Strategies to achieve the goal and objectives of the University.
- Facilitating the recruitment and selection process of staff and faculty members.
- Maintaining the standard job specifications and qualification criteria (for fresh recruitments as well as promotions) specified by the UGC.
- Preparing/revising the Service Rules of the University.
- Making policies for preparing pay scale and preparing the same.
- Updating the University Organogram if the conditions stated in the policy so dictate.
- Formulating and implementing human resources related policies, procedures and updating of organogram.
- Facilitating investigations pertaining to issues of misconduct and policy infractions; coordinates performance management, grievance, and related documentation.
- Supporting current and future University needs through the development, motivation and retention of the human resource
- Design and expand training and development programs based on analysis of TNA.
- Setting KPIs for evaluating (appraising) the performance of the faculty members and staff with respect to promotion and pay enhancement. Employee participation in overall development process of the University needs to be included as one of the KPIs.
- Maintain Payroll, attendance, employee personal file, leave management, compensation management, employee relations, employee welfare and services and induction of employees.
- Handling the Gratuity, Health benefits, Maternity benefits, Insurance facility Environmental safety (depending on the situations that will prevail in the University).
- Ensuring that the University is in compliance with all regulatory frameworks pertaining to labour regulations and that heads of departments are kept up to date with changing labour regulations;
- Coordinating the development and management of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Leading and directing the Human Resources Team to deliver a comprehensive Human Resources services to the University.
- Carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the authority.
