∎ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
∎ PGD in the Supply Chain will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strategically manage the procurement of imported raw materials (RM), local raw materials, and packaging materials (PM).
∎ Achieve cost savings through effective negotiation, bulk purchasing, and alternative sourcing strategies.
∎ Monitor and adhere to procurement budgets, ensuring procurement activities stay within allocated financial limits.
∎ Regularly report on cost savings achieved and percentage reductions in procurement costs.
∎ Develop and maintain a supplier performance scorecard to evaluate responsiveness, quality, and timeliness.
∎ Strengthen supplier relationships through effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
∎ Identify and develop alternative suppliers, both local and international, to mitigate supply risks.
∎ Reduce supplier lead times to improve delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of materials.
∎ Enhance payment terms and manage supplier payments efficiently to build trust and reliability.
∎ Streamline the PRS (Purchase Requisition System) and ensure accurate and timely LC (Letter of Credit) openings.
∎ Monitor and improve the lead time from PRS creation to PO submission and LC issuance to material receipt.
∎ Ensure a high order accuracy rate by eliminating errors in quantity, quality, and timeliness.
∎ Reduce the overall procurement cycle time from requisition to material delivery.
∎ Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
∎ Identify potential risks in procurement processes and implement effective mitigation strategies.
∎ Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits and reviews.
∎ Guarantee 100% inventory availability in the store to support uninterrupted production.
∎ Collaborate with inventory management teams to align procurement schedules with production needs.
∎ Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
∎ Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including procurement cost savings, supplier satisfaction scores, lead times, and compliance rates.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports on procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
