Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Asterisk and Linux System Management: Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Asterisk-based telephony systems with in-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems to ensure reliability, security, and performance of the VoIP infrastructure.
∎ Service Development and Optimization: Lead the development and optimization of VoIP services, aligning with business goals and evolving client needs.
∎ Identify and implement improvements to enhance service quality and scalability.
∎ Presales Engagement and Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team in pre-sales activities, engaging with clients to understand technical requirements, design solutions, develop proposals, and demonstrate product capabilities.
∎ Post-Sales Support and Customer Service: Provide end-to-end post-sales support for clients, assisting with implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support to ensure high customer satisfaction.
∎ Programming and Automation: Utilize programming skills in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL to create custom applications, automate workflows, and support seamless operations within the VoIP infrastructure.
∎ Network Management: Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and firewall configuration, to support IP Telephony services with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
∎ Virtualization Management: Oversee virtualized environments used for IP telephony services, ensuring resource optimization, efficient backup solutions, and maintenance of virtual machines to support scalable VoIP operations.
∎ Physical and Virtual Server Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and updates on both physical and virtual servers. Ensure the resilience, performance, and security of IPTSP core servers located in data centers or IPT racks.
∎ Billing and CDR Management for IPTSP Services: Manage IPTSP-specific billing processes, including analysis of call detail records (CDRs), configuration of billing systems, and validation for accuracy to support consistent and accurate revenue tracking.
∎ Team Leadership and Task Planning: Organize, prioritize, and assign tasks to team members. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure that project goals are met efficiently and that team activities align with overall service quality objectives.
∎ System Upgrades and Security Compliance: Perform regular system and security updates, conduct security assessments, and implement necessary measures to protect the VoIP infrastructure and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
∎ Coordination with Regulatory Bodies and Partners: Liaise with regulatory bodies such as BTRC and work closely with partners and other relevant stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and align operational practices with industry standards.
