We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Deputy Manager/ Manager (Local Procurement) for Bashundhara Industrial Economic Zone Ltd.(BIEZL) Mirsharai, Chattogram.
∎ The Position is expected to provide advisory service to the Head of Local procurement about planning and developing procurement strategies & policies and execute the same to ensure effective, efficient and smooth delivery of material for uninterrupted operation at BIEZL.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Draft procurement strategies & policies, SOP, Modules and manuals to standardize procurement system.
∎ Manage, control and execute the Procurement process to control costs and maintain relations with suppliers, current and potential, is reached at competitive prices, quality, delivery & service.
∎ Responsible for Procurement of industrial machinery, spare parts, raw materials and chemicals from Local markets.
∎ Sourcing of capable supplier(s) ensuring effective procurement of quality materials with competitive price by way of effective negotiation and obtain management approval of each procurement. Prepare procurement plan according to the production forecast.
∎ Receive PR from the concerned and take action as appropriates within timeline.
∎ Develop the monthly procurement action plan.
∎ Coordinate with concerned personnel for ensuring smooth delivery of the same to the concerned factory.
∎ Formulate procurement plan for raw materials and chemicals for maintaining uninterrupted production in the factories.
∎ Maintain Data Base of procurement.
∎ Maintain liaison with local consultants for rendering their services in respect of erection of plants, installation & commissioning of capital machinery and development of production process.
∎ Arrangement of payment of local consultants through assessment of service delivery in line with Deed of Agreement.
∎ Manage & maintain accurate records (SKU wise) of receive & issue all materials, inventory, quality checking as per procedure.
∎ Any other task assigned by the supervisor related to Procurement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must have minimum 8 years work experience in managing the Supply Chain functions of manufacturing industry.
∎ Should have Managerial Experience in previous employment preferably in a large industry.
∎ Immaculate credentials on honesty & integrity with solid track record.
∎ Excellent communication and interactive skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups.
∎ Must be proficient in software associated with SCD.
∎ Strong organizational, Project management and execution skills.
∎ Strong Analytical, interpersonal and managerial skills.
