Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and conduct comprehensive audits of healthcare development programmes, hospitals, clinics, insurance providers, and related entities.
∎ Evaluate operational processes, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
∎ Perform risk assessments to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
∎ Assist in preparation of Annual Internal Audit Plan (AIAP) for Head Office & Divisional Office and Implementation of AIAP through proper Scheduling, Staff Planning & Supervision through field visits by using the technical expertise.
∎ Develop audit programs and execute audits in accordance with established standards and timelines.
∎ Assess compliance with relevant standard treatment guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
∎ Review the diagnostic procedures conducted in TDCs, ensuring that X-ray and GeneXpert tests are carried out following the standard clinical protocols.
∎ Assess the accuracy of TB patient identification based on diagnostic results and follow up.
∎ Evaluate the procedures and processes follows in peripheral labs for microscopic activities related to TB diagnosis.
∎ Evaluate the appropriateness of diagnostic procedures like sample collection, preparation of blood smear, fixation, staining, microscopic examination, identification and enumeration and reporting results.
∎ Assess whether appropriate antimalarial medications are prescribed based on the species of the malaria parasite and the severity of the infection. Health Care Services [PHC, Family Planning, Eyecare and DID]
∎ Review and ensure the essential healthcare service package includes health and nutrition, and water and sanitation education, along with family planning and pregnancy-related care.
∎ Make recommendations for optimizing resource allocation, patient care, and administrative procedures.
∎ Collaborate with operational teams to implement recommended changes.
∎ Reviewing existing protocols, guidelines, and best practices related to primary health care, TB control, and malaria control. This could include guidelines from WHO, CDC, or other relevant health organizations.
∎ Conduct an assessment to understand the current practices, challenges, and gaps in primary health care, TB control, and malaria control activities.
∎ Based on the identified objectives and best practices, develop updated checklists for primary health care, TB control, and malaria control activities.
∎ Provide training and capacity-building sessions for healthcare providers and audit teams on the updated checklists and audit program. Ensure that they understand the purpose of the checklists and audits, how to use them effectively, and their role in improving the quality of care.
∎ Communication with programme management to provide their responses on quarterly reports within deadline
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deputy Manager, Health Services Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. The Health Services Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and other necessary areas of BRAC Health programmes, and healthcare enterprises. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of healthcare services and beneficiary outcomes.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
