Responsibilities & Context:

Bridge Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is a rapidly growing company in Bangladesh’s Animal Health sector, dedicated to delivering quality products and services. The Depot Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient depot operations through proper stock management, timely dispatch and delivery, accurate documentation, and coordination with relevant teams, while maintaining compliance with company policies and supporting overall operational efficiency.

 

Job requirements & responsibilities:

  • Supervise depot staff, assign duties, and monitor performance to ensure smooth depot operations.

  • Manage overall depot activities, including proper stock control and availability of products.

  • Oversee logistics operations, delivery schedules, and coordination with sales and distribution teams.

  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of products to marketing officers.

  • Generate sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner using accounting software.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, receivables, and daily depot transactions.

  • Monitor logistics and operational costs and recommend cost-effective measures.

  • Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile stock with system records.

  • Identify slow-moving, expired, or obsolete stock and report to management for necessary action.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock position, sales, accounts, and depot operations.

  • Maintain proper accounting documents and depot records to support audits and ensure statutory compliance.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and safety standards.

  • Perform additional tasks as required to support organizational objectives.
