• Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience at O/A Level (Cambridge curriculum preferred).
• Strong command of English (both spoken and written).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, etc.)
• Email and internet browsing
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Classroom
• Online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams)

• Monitor academic progress and ensure teaching standards meet institutional requirements.

• Plan and conduct academic meetings, workshops, and teacher training sessions.

• Review lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments for quality assurance.

• To plan, coordinate and evaluate teaching methods and the curriculum.

• To provide conditions for teachers in the English department to provide the best educational experience for the students.

• To communicate effectively with parents on the progress, attainment and overall development of the students in your care, through written reports and parent/teacher consultation times.

• Ensure alignment of curriculum with Cambridge and other international standards.

• Maintain effective communication with parents, students, and faculty.       

• Develop strategies to improve students' academic performance in English

• Lead and coordinate the English curriculum for Primary Years (PY). 

• Support teachers in lesson planning, classroom activities, and assessments.

• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers.

• To communicate effectively with parents on the progress, attainment and overall development of the students in your care, through written reports and parent/teacher consultation times.

• Ensure the curriculum meets institutional and international standards.      

• Monitor student progress and implement improvement strategies where required.

• Develop and maintain effective communication with parents, students, and teachers.

• To organize and run events to promote reading, writing and speaking to the whole school community.

• To effectively distribute tasks throughout the faculty ensuring and monitoring their successful completion.

• To inspire learners through well designed and creative lessons that enable all students to access the English curriculum and make significant progress.

• To create and maintain a stimulating learning environment, including but not limited to creative classroom displays and appropriate resources.      

• To identify and or provide appropriate training, through coaching and mentoring, for individuals to meet their professional development goals.

• Follow school policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines at all times

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the school management.
