Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
∎ Diploma in Civil Engineering with Five years working experience. Essential

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare/Collect design of construction work and having approval from the appropriate authority
∎ Conduct Brief Environmental Examination (BEE) of construction work
∎ Prepare and get approval of BOQ
∎ Prepare Sub-project proposal and have approval from the concerned authority
∎ Ensure tendering process timely aligning with annual work plan
∎ Ensure timely completion of construction work as per approved design
∎ Ensure payment of bill in time
∎ Completion of planned construction work within project lifetime
∎ Conduct need assessment and BEE of earth work
∎ Conduct pre-work survey timely
∎ Ensure timely completion of road improvement and ground raising projects as per approved design
∎ Prepare project completion report and preserve for further references
∎ Develop appropriate monitoring tools
∎ Make regular visit of ongoing projects to ensure quality
∎ Shared and take necessary action
∎ Establish good working relationship among the similar program implementing government and non government organization
∎ Assist stakeholders for understanding of different program according to the project design.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual report in accordance
∎ Document all reports and records properly for further references
∎ Increase demonstration and understanding of commitment to World Vision’s core values in the approach to work and relationships.
∎ Complete performance review and achieve development plan
∎ Receive update and related training

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to conduct pre-work, post-work survey
∎ Skill on preparation BOQ
∎ Skill on designing of different construction structures
∎ Computer aided design software knowledge is preferable
∎ Networking capacity with GOB and other NGOs
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license
∎ Ability to work in different target groups
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
∎ Basic computer knowledge of using MS Word and MS Excel
∎ Knowledge on engineering design software
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in similar position in any reputed organization
∎ Experience in working in the Refugee Camps in Cox’s Bazar
∎ Experience in World Vision . Preferred
∎ Work experience in USAID/UN Org. INGO / NGO funded project. Prefrred
