To succeed in this role, you must be well-versed in the culinary arts and committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
Assist chefs in cooking according to standard recipes.
Prepare basic dishes, salads, and sauces as per standard recipes.
Process and marinate meats and fish.
Perform basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
Ensure utensils and other kitchen equipment are ready.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and other compliance guidelines.
Perform essential cleaning duties to ensure workplace cleanliness.
Guide the work of Catering Assistants.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
