Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist chefs in cooking according to standard recipes.
∎ Prepare basic dishes, salads, and sauces as per standard recipes.
∎ Process and marinate meats and fish.
∎ Perform basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
∎ Ensure utensils and other kitchen equipment are ready.
∎ Maintain food safety, hygiene, and other compliance guidelines.
∎ Perform essential cleaning duties to ensure workplace cleanliness.
∎ Guide the work of Catering Assistants.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
