Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in Science preferably in Civil engineering from any reputable university.
∎ Skills Required: C&F Agent Handling, Commercial related experience, Construction sector, International Sourcing, Local and Foreign Purchase, Negotiation Skills
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Civil Engineer, Commercial/ Purchase, Experienced in large scale imports opening LC at least 2 to 4 years, Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F, Import Commercial, indenting, International Trading
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Developer, Hotel, Real Estate, Resort
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing construction equipment /machineries /raw materials and other essential items internationally and locally, creating new vendors, negotiating for best price, making comparison statement.
∎ Ensure all commercial activities (e.g., issuance of PI, L/C amendment, correction of L/C terms and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions, negotiation to buyers and sellers, payment realization, bond etc.) through overseas phone and e-mail.
∎ Handle customs related all responsibilities like custom clearances HS Code formalities.
∎ Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping line, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, VAT department, Govt. bodies.
∎ Communication with confirming bank for adds confirmation of export LC issues at a competitive price.
∎ Check all export/import documents required at different levels (e.g., Commercial invoice, Packing List, Delivery Challan /Truck Receipt, Technical Literature, Country of Origin, others certificate)
∎ Collect quotation against specific freight forwarder and prepare comparative statement for specific items.
∎ Check import payment against different L/C's.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, attentive to detail, accountable, professional, relentless work ethic.
∎ Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Hotel construction.
∎ Flexible working hours and flexibility in movement is a must.
