Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS, master's in public health or relevant area
∎ 5+ years' experience conducting clinical training, capacity building and assessments.
∎ Experiences in SRH program especially family planning MR and PAC services.
∎ Experience working in a clinical environment.
∎ Skilled in training designing, training conduction and monitoring
∎ Good experience in coordination with different stakeholders
∎ Understanding and experiences about public health systems of Bangladesh especially in-depth understanding about urban health service delivery mechanism is essential.
∎ Competency in training budgeting and budget management
∎ Computer skill: proficiency in MS Office and data management
∎ Good professional writing skills in English and Bangla

Job Context:
∎ RHSTEP is the implementing partner of Ipas Bangladesh in a project funded by Global Affairs Canada through HealthBridge Foundation in Canada titled `Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Dhaka` to improve availability and access of quality SRHR services particularly family planning, MR and Post-abortion care (PAC) services for poor and ultra-poor women and adolescents living urban areas of greater Dhaka. The project will also work to reduce SGBV by creating awareness among city dwellers. To ensure uninterrupted SRHR services during any public health emergency including COVID-19 pandemic, the project will also work for emergency preparedness and responses. The five-year project will be implemented from now till March 2026 in collaborate with city corporations` health authorities and their health programs, DGFP and DGHS, BGMEA and other stakeholders and partners.
∎ Clinical Trainer for ISRHR project of RHSTEP is mainly responsible for ensuring the execution of capacity building and skill retention activities for the health service providers maintaining the standards, protocols and guidelines in SRHR components in project areas. S/he will also ensure service quality improvement and local resource generation by engaging quality improvement.
∎ This position will be based at Ipas Bangladesh office at Dhaka and will jointly work with ISRHR Project Manager of Ipas Bangladesh. Project Manager for ISRHR project of RHSTEP will be supervised by the Deputy Executive Director of RHSTEP.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for conducting a variety of training programs and developing training tools for clinical staff of UPHCDP health service providers on sexual and reproductive health related issues.
∎ Maintain and monitor the delivery and effectiveness of the training program and identify solutions to challenges.
∎ Plan, coordinate and implement capacity building/training for health care providers in the project area;
∎ Participate in developing SRH including Family Planning and SGBV training materials, presentation preparedness according to the project needs.
∎ Assist in development of training plan for SRH especially on Comprehensive MR, PAC & Family Planning as per timeline of the project workplan.
∎ Facilitate evaluation of training effectiveness and continuous follow-up the quality of service delivery as per standard.
∎ Liaison with government counterparts (Health & Family planning) and other local level officials to make an effective collaboration for improving health service delivery.
∎ Identify gaps in training and implement improvements in training programs.
∎ Conduct clinical trainings for doctors and MLPs of selected referral facilities, 30 UPHCDP clinics on MR, PAC & comprehensive contraceptive services
∎ Designing and organizing different initiatives including VCAT workshops for attitude transformation of the providers and facility managers to provide women centered, respectful and nonjudgmental SRHR services.
∎ Maintain mentoring relationship to ensure best practices are being implemented to improve performance. Presentation preparedness, development, and training conduction.
∎ Skill update on FP & MR for doctors of 30 UPHCDP Facilities
∎ Perform other project related responsibilities assigned by the management
∎ Reporting to: Project Manager, ISRHR project - RHSTEP
