Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Pathology in clinical pathology
∎ Skills Required: Medical Assistant
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and manage pathology, microbiology and biochemistry laboratory.
∎ Identify and interpret a range of chemistry reactions in slides and culture samples.
∎ Interpret laboratory finding and diagnosis to patients.
∎ Assist histology and necropsy laboratories attending client's needs by investigating and establishing new techniques and improving current ones.
∎ Performing specimen analysis by using laboratory tools and equipment, in order to study samples and perform tests to accurately analyze bodily fluids and tissue specimens.
∎ Looking for abnormalities in samples that evidence disease and conveying this information to the relevant medical practitioner.
∎ Using checklists, medical software, and retesting to get thorough and precise results.
∎ Writing pathology reports detailing specimens tested, results of tests, and the final diagnosis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
∎ Experience using lab testing equipment, such as microscopes and flow cytometers.
∎ Working knowledge of medical data management software, including MEDITECH Anatomical Pathology,
∎ Exceptional analytical and research skills.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills.
