Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. General Cleaning:
∎ Clean and sanitize all areas of the shelter home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and offices.
∎ Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and surfaces.
∎ 2. Waste Management:
∎ Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables regularly.
∎ Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal according to the shelter home’s policies.
∎ 3. Sanitization:
∎ Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
∎ Ensure bathrooms and kitchens are thoroughly sanitized.
∎ 4. Laundry Services:
∎ Wash, dry, and fold residents' and shelter home linens.
∎ Ensure that clean linens are available at all times.
∎ 5. Supply Management:
∎ Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and materials.
∎ Replenish supplies as needed and notify the Shelter Home Manager of any shortages.
∎ 6. Compliance with Health and Safety Standards:
∎ Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
∎ Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.
∎ 7. Support Services:
∎ Assist with setting up and cleaning after events and activities within the shelter home.
∎ Provide general support to residents and staff as needed.
∎ 8. Collaboration:
∎ Work closely with other staff members to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
∎ Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
∎ 9. Reporting:
∎ Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Shelter Home Manager.
∎ Document and report any incidents or issues related to cleanliness and hygiene.
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is implementing the project “FSTIP Project” in Jashore, Jhenaidah, Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Barisal and Madaripur district with the support of Winrock International and looking for the following position:

∎ Reporting to: Shelter Home Manager
∎ Objective: To ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the shelter home, providing a safe and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
∎ Key Responsibilities:

Compensation & Other Benefits:

∎ • Consolidated Salary: 8,000 BDT (consolidated) per month (Yearly 5% inflation)
