Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven professional experience in civil engineering or site management.

• Demonstrated experience in supervising on-site civil work and managing sub-contractors to ensure execution meets design standards.

• Hands-on experience in preparing comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BoQ), bar bending schedules, and detailed project planning.

• Proven track record in site management, including site logistics, tool and material inventory, and QA/QC test reporting.

• Previous exposure to coordinating with suppliers and managing procurement.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot site issues and facilitate crisis management. 

Other Requirement:

• Must have passport for international travel (validity minimum until 2029)

• Must be able to communicate in English (Read, Write, and Speak)

• Proficiency in civil design and drafting tools (AutoCAD) to review designs and update as-built drawings.

• Deep understanding of civil construction standards, material specifications, and testing protocols.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant health and safety certifications are a strong advantage.

Job Description:

• Understand project contractual requirements as per the bid document.

• Arrange for documentation approval as per the consultant's design basis.

• Prepare recommendations and BOQ for the design team leader for the scope of work.

• Liaise with the project consultant throughout the project.

• Prepare recommendation on the contractor’s as-built drawings and O&M manual submittals.

• Streamline with designers to ensure accurate civil design and submittals.

• Align with suppliers to ensure accurate specifications of civil equipment and materials.

• Detailed planning for civil activities, facilitate civil work planning, and develop a comprehensive civil Bill of Quantities (BoQ).

• Ensure all civil designs are executed correctly on-site and ensure as-built drawings are continuously updated.

• Manage and supervise sub-contractors and overall work on-site.

• Take responsibility for obtaining and managing all test reports for civil work.

• Facilitate project management, crisis management, and site logistics activities.

• Manage site operations, including the inventory of tools and materials on site.

• Facilitate procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary resources.

• Report to the project manager on day-to-day basis on the work progress.

• 3-year contract initially with potential for long-term appointment
