Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnical engineering.
∎ Certification in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Our company is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate needs to have a strong technical background and experience in geotechnical engineering design, analysis, report preparation, and construction.

∎ The employee will be required to work outside in various weather conditions, and may be exposed to noise, dust, and other environmental factors associated with construction sites.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform geotechnical analysis and design including slope stability, foundation design, retaining wall design, and soil-structure interaction analysis.
∎ Manage and conduct geotechnical investigations, including drilling and soil sampling, logging, and testing.
∎ Manage field investigations, including coordination with subcontractors and field technicians, and interpretation of field data.
∎ Prepare technical reports, including geotechnical engineering analysis, foundation design recommendations, and construction recommendations.
∎ Provide technical support to other departments and collaborate with other disciplines, such as civil, structural, and environmental engineering.
∎ Communicate with clients and present findings and recommendations.
∎ Mentor and train junior staff in geotechnical engineering principles and techniques.
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Experience with geotechnical analysis software such as Slope/W, L-Pile, and Plaxis.
∎ Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical engineering design principles, including slope stability analysis, foundation design, and retaining wall design.
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Valid driver's license.
∎ Valid passport or eligible to apply for the passport.
∎ The position requires the ability to perform fieldwork, including drilling and soil sampling, in all weather conditions with heavy equipment, and on uneven terrain.
Salary: Negotiable
