Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5-8 years of experience in preferably in Water Treatment or Power Plant Engineering.
∎ Proven, progressive, hands-on mechanical/electrical engineering and project management experience on a variety of projects including but not limited to: water pumping station, water treatment plants, pipeline networks, HVAC on industrial application, and supportive ancillary works such as underdrain.
∎ Leading multi-discipline projects and teams to successful commissioning.
∎ For mechanical: good knowledge about CWTP equipment such as Pumps, Compressor, Pre-fabricated structures for buildings, tanks, etc.
∎ For mechanical: good understanding of piping and layout preparation, sizing calculations, equipment selection, etc.
∎ Good understanding of NEMA, NBC, ASME, NPFA and other Indian and international standards.
∎ For electrical: experience in installation and calibration of Monitoring & Control Instrumentation, Analysers, SCADA, and other ancillary structures.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Report to Project Manager on day-to-day basis on the work progress.
∎ Prepare recommendations and BOM for design team leader for scope of work.
∎ Understand tender contractual requirement and arrange for documentation approval as per consultant’s design basis.
∎ Review contractor’s claims related to actual measurement works.
∎ Prepare recommendations for claims approval or rejection.
∎ Liaise with local authorities and ministerial agencies having jurisdiction over the project.
∎ Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
∎ Review contractors change order proposals.
∎ Prepare recommendation on the contractor’s as-built drawings and O&M manual submittals.
∎ Ensure proper installation of piping and flow routes through water treatment plants, and water distribution systems including all electro-mechanical devices.
