Job Context:
∎ S. A GROUP OF INDUSTRIES is looking for an experienced person for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in its Head Office, Khulshi, Chattogram.
∎ Job Location: Chattogram (the applicant should be able to commit to stay longer period of time in Chattogram)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To implement the company's vision and mission.
∎ To oversee all operations and business activities to ensure the desired results.
∎ To maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.
∎ To assess risks to the company and ensuring they are monitored and minimized.
∎ To communicate, on behalf of the company, with shareholders, government entities, and the public.
∎ Support in managing key product procurement process, vendor/ merchant/ supplier relationships together with the respective teams and units.
∎ To Lead the development of the company's short and long-term strategy.
∎ Will be responsible to Create and continuously develop long term strategic and financial plans of the company.
∎ To enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics.
∎ Monitoring day to day company operations and activities, ensuring the business continues as per the strategic directions and guidelines.
∎ To evaluate the work of other executive leaders within the company.
∎ Achieve and maintain actual growth goals, financial projections comprehending associated risk factors.
∎ To maintain updated knowledge regarding markets and industry of the company.
∎ To analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
∎ Responsible for overall Sales Operation.
∎ Evaluating and developing marketing strategy and marketing plan.
∎ Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.
∎ Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness.
∎ Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels.
∎ Working with sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing.
∎ Ensure collection of market dues, bad debts, recovery, settlement and adjustment.
∎ Paying close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 10 years experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies.
∎ FMCG & Multinational company experience will get preference.
∎ Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
∎ Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
∎ Familiarity with diverse business functions such as Marketing, Production, Accounts, Finance, HR, PR etc.
∎ In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
∎ An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
