Job Responsibilities:

• Repairing wooden doors, windows, and frames.

• Assembling new furniture or modifying existing ones as needed.

• Building custom furniture, shelving units, or partitions for classrooms, offices, or labs.

• Installing whiteboards, bulletin boards, doors etc

• Assisting in the construction or renovation of lecture halls, dormitories, or study spaces.

• Ensuring carpentry work meets safety and accessibility codes.

• Conducting inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Ensuring safe and functional furniture for staff and patients.

• Addressing damage to doors, walls, and patient room fixtures promptly to avoid safety hazards.

• Using appropriate materials and following health guidelines (e.g., dust control) during construction or repair works to prevent contamination.

• Coordinating with other maintenance and engineering staff.
