∎ POSITION PROFILE:
∎ The CCCM Manager Trainee has the overall responsibility for supporting with implementation, technical quality, and harmonization/standardization of CCCM work in all sites where DRC works to support the RRRC in managing refugee camps in Bangladesh. This position will co-exist with the CCCM Manager position for a transitional period of nine months (April-December 2021) during which the CCCM Manager will work closely with the trainee to ensure proper capacity building by training, coaching and mentoring.
∎ The trainee will be expected to ensure information flow on CCCM programming to and from the field, ensuring learning across all sites for programme quality. He/She represents DRC on CCCM/ Site Management issues with the IOM field focal person, and Camp in Charges (CiCs) regarding the refugee response.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Programming and Coordination:
∎ Following the DRC CCCM strategy, provide management support and technical guidance to the CCCM team
∎ Support the CCCM Team to ensure that DRC is implementing high-quality standardized site management support programming in accordance with international standards, sectoral guidance, and best practices
∎ Identify gaps and needs in CCCM programme in DRC sites
∎ Contribute to the promotion of a participatory approach (engagement of affected population) to CCCM and service provision in the camps/sites
∎ Manage CCCM-related information flow to and from field sites, including updates to and from the sector
∎ Deliver necessary advocacy information for relevant operational and coordination needs, working with the CCCM Manager and other humanitarian partners
∎ Support the CCCM Manager in the production of donor, site and other reports, and advocacy and policy notes
∎ Contribute to proposal developments
∎ Work closely with the CCCM Manager to ensure that all CCCM activities are being appropriately monitored and evaluated
∎ Support in project management including budget management, updating and monitoring the CCCM internal Project Management Tool (PMT) to ensure quality project management
∎ Staff Management:
∎ Work in collaboration with 5 national Camp Managers
∎ Monitor team staffing and report to the CCCM Manager
∎ Identify and address capacity gaps among CCCM staff
∎ Accountability:
∎ Ensure that DRC's CCCM programming meets accountability obligations and is carried out in accordance with the Core Humanitarian Standards
∎ Work with the Protection Manager to ensure protection mainstreaming in CCCM activities
∎ Any other duties as agreed with the CCCM Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
∎ Minimum of 2 years' relevant programme experience in camp management and significant experience in project management
∎ Experience of both the cluster system and the refugee coordination model
∎ Strong donor, government and partner influencing experience, and of providing support to government camp management entities (Site Management Support or mentorship)
∎ Experience with capacity building, facilitating training sessions and workshops
∎ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, Bangla/Chittagonian; knowledge in Rohingya will be an additional advantage
∎ Proven commitment to accountability and quality assurance
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and in adverse conditions
∎ Knowledge of mobile data collection (kobo toolbox)
∎ Proficiency in common computer packages and financial software e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint

∎ LANGUAGES (indicate fluency level)
∎ Fluent in spoken English and strong writing/reporting skills in English
