Responsibilities & Context: A CAD Operator for solar systems designs and drafts 2D/3D technical layouts for Rooftop Project. They create detailed site plans, electrical wiring diagrams (SLD), and structural details for permitting and construction. Key Responsibilities Generate PV layouts, site plans, and electrical schematics for residential or commercial solar projects. Create 2D/3D models and conduct shading analyses using software such as AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVSyst, or SketchUp. Update existing drawings based on field updates, engineering feedback, or construction modifications. Coordinate with engineers, sales teams, and installation crews to ensure design feasibility and optimal system performance.
