Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support new business development efforts through leading application development projects and customer contact
∎ Lead textile, fiber and film application development
∎ Plan manufacturing order releases
∎ Providing supervision of team members (including students) as required
∎ Focusing on understanding the impact of raw materials, processes and other external factors on the durability of final product performance
∎ Linking the chemical, physical and mechanical properties of fibers, textiles, and flexible composites to apparel performance
∎ Partnering with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, develop and utilize textile characterization and aging capabilities
∎ Leveraging forensic analysis tools to understand textile impact on product failure and durability risk
∎ Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or assignments
∎ Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives

∎ Age 34 to 38 years
