Job Context:
∎ We are searching for an engaging, courteous barista who is passionate about food and tea preparation and education. The barista will greet customers, share relevant knowledge, answer their questions, take orders and accept payments, and prepare and serve food and tea. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentation.
∎ To succeed as a barista, you should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Greeting customers in a friendly manner
∎ Taking food and drink orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of tea blend, dairy and flavour ratios)
∎ Informing them about specials or new items and answering questions about menu choices.
∎ Taking payments from customers
∎ Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods and grinding, blending and brewing tea and serving items to customers.
∎ Packaging food and beverage for sale.
∎ Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
∎ Selling tea blends and brewing equipment, highlighting and differences between items, educating customers about tea and its different brewing techniques.
∎ Cleaning and restocking the work and dining areas, emptying trash, sanitizing equipment and utensils.
∎ Learning about brewing methods, tea blending techniques, food preparation and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
∎ Upgrading displays and signage to attract customers.
∎ Taking inventory and restocking items into display areas, tables and behind the counter.
∎ Working as a part of high energy team.
∎ Adhering to all food and safety regulations and quality controls.
∎ Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
∎ Working to attract new customers
∎ Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 19 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in food and beverage preparation- 3-5 years
∎ Willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
∎ Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner
∎ Ability to walk, bend and stand for extended period.
∎ Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages
∎ Availability to work around pick hours, including nights, early morning, weekends and holidays.
∎ A polite, engaging personality
∎ Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
∎ Willingness to work and lead as a part of a high- energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: Tk. 14000 - 15000 (Monthly)
