Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Leather Engineering/ Leather Product Engineering/ Footwear Engineering.
∎ Education qualification will be waived for very good candidates with proper experience.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the PD from the front and having good command.
∎ Oversee product development operations.
∎ Work with materials sourcing department to identify and select Quality materials, Component necessary
∎ to complete designated projects.
∎ Facilitate the decision making process that leads to on time product confirmation and sample delivery date.
∎ Communicate with concern for new product development and validate within timeline as per customer requirement.
∎ Coordinate with sample team and ensure sample quality according to customer requirement.
∎ Plan & develop policy to use man, machine & materials for saving operation cost.
∎ Prepare SOP, Pattern Making & technical packs to enable the smooth and swift production of accurate
∎ prototype and salesman samples.
∎ Provide all sample materials consumption and specification to merchandisers for order sample materials.
∎ Complete technical packs according to critical path deadlines.
∎ Production advice sheet properly distribute to concern department.
∎ Making show board based on confirms sample and proper distribute concern department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 year(s) as a Asst.Manager/Manager.
∎ The applicants should have experience in PD Footwear Manufacturing Company.
∎ Must have knowledge about any CAD Software such as SHOE MASTER/I-CAD3/CRISPIN.
∎ Utilization of work force for achieving daily sample target.
∎ All kind of Technical issues solved by the team members.
∎ The ideal applicant should have a proves background in similar role within footwear specializing in product
∎ development and critical path management experience.
∎ To understand current market trends and buying psychology.
∎ Problem solving and result oriented.
∎ Check all patterns, yarn & materials information is included in the technical packs prior to sending.
∎ Communicate with suppliers answering technical questions relating to technical packs.
∎ Working according to the deadline.
∎ Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues
