Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage logistics operations, which involve coordinating with transporters, freight forwarders, and stakeholders to ensure smooth movement of goods
∎ Prepare the Letter of Credit (L/C) process, including preparing and reviewing L/C documentation, liaising with banks, and ensuring that all requirements are met in a timely manner.
∎ Manage the customs clearance process, ensuring all necessary documents are in place, and liaise with customs authorities to ensure timely delivery of goods
∎ Take a leading role in Sourcing products from suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring that the quality of products meets the required standards.
∎ Manage the import process, obtain licenses, permits, and certifications, and ensure compliance with relevant government regulations
∎ Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the production team to ensure the availability of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
∎ Ensure Bulk shipments of large quantities of goods - typically by sea, air-freight, on road or rail.
∎ Ensure SRO compliance by aligning sales and operations activities to meet customer demand while maintaining inventory levels and production capacity.
∎ Prepare, propose or review Bulk cargo booking agreement, rent lighter vessels and process and calculate bills and invoice.
