Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage the procurement and purchase of foreign raw materials (Cement RM) in accordance with company requirements.
∎ Handle BIFPCL shipments, primarily focusing on bulk orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
∎ Source reliable foreign suppliers, ensuring alignment with the company’s quality and compliance standards.
∎ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with international vendors to obtain the best possible value.
∎ Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive supplier and vendor database.
∎ Ensure all foreign procurement activities are aligned with budgetary and timeline constraints.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all foreign purchases and transactions.
∎ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination across the supply chain.
∎ Timely update and maintain the Supply Chain Management (SCM) database for effective tracking and reporting.
∎ Perform any other duties related to procurement and supply chain, as assigned by the line manager.
∎ Bashundhara Group’s Cement Division is seeking a motivated professional to join its Foreign Procurement team. The role focuses on sourcing cement raw materials, managing bulk shipments (including BIFPCL orders), and ensuring timely, cost-effective imports. Ideal for candidates with experience in international procurement and a passion for supply chain excellence.
