a)       PhD in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or Language Education from a globally recognized university.

b)      A minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale at the Master’s level

c)       A minimum of 5 publications in indexed journals or reputed international outlets relevant to the field of specialization and at least 7 years of university-level teaching experience.

d)      Age must be less than 55 years at the time of appointment

i.      Prepare course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial and practical classes, extension teaching, related research and cooperative field experience.

ii.     Evaluate the students’ achievements and maintain their cumulative records.

iii.    Supervise and guide students’ works and activities inside and outside classrooms

iv.   Identify academic problems of individual students and assist in their solution,

v.    any other duties as may be assigned by the authority.
