∎ Diploma from any recognized institution (Preferably in Minimum Diploma in Telecommunication/Electronics engineering or Bachelor degree with 3 years and above experience in telecommunication network and maintenance)

∎ Minimum 1-2 years experience in Telephone connection and maintenance in any reputed organization.
∎ Practical knowledge about Telephone Exchange
∎ Good Knowledge of Telecom cable, Telecom network equipment, and specifications.
∎ Competencies on cable installation and knowledge on group, pair and color of a cable.
∎ Good knowledge of computer operating skills (MS office, excel, PowerPoint)
∎ Ticket handling skills through software
∎ Should be skill to work at Main Distribution Frame (MDF), Internal Distribution Frame (IDF), Distribution Box (DB) and Internet public switched telephone network (IPSTN), Internet Protocol (IP) telephony system & IP telephony network.
∎ Able to find faults of telephone lines and provide possible solution.
∎ Co-operative and teamwork ability.
∎ Innovative thinking and self-motivation.
∎ Coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure to connect BTCL lines with telephone exchanges and keeping it operational at all times.
∎ Take necessary arrangements to maintain and keep all exchanges BRAC Head Office and Field Offices operational.
∎ Set-up Main Distribution Frame (MDF), Internal Distribution Frame (IDF) and Distribution Box (DB) as required and update the numbers of port list and submit to Manager regularly.
∎ Take all necessary measures to install and maintain underground and overhead telecom cables.
∎ Take regular payment of monthly bills of BTCL numbers and update the payment database.
∎ Ensure regular maintenance of PABX for BRAC and BRAC other sister concerns.
∎ Maintain all documentation regarding PABX and perform administrative work as per advice of supervisor.
∎ Install and provide operational support of all telecommunication equipment in BRAC
∎ Ensure all extension-related work according to complain tickets and update the information in the telecommunication software.
∎ Work at Telecom Help Desk and performing other assigned duties assigned by supervisor.
∎ Prepare estimate for floor renovation work.

∎ Job Purpose
∎ This position will ensure to provide active and extensible technical solution for smooth telecommunications system.
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ Ensure to connect BTCL lines with telephone exchanges and keeping it operational at all times.
