Shandhani School and College, an institution of Shandhani Shangstha, is looking for a qualified and dedicated Assistant Teacher (Islamic Studies)) to join its team. Below are the requirements and details for the position:

Job Responsibilities

• Teach Islamic Studies subjects and Islamic ethics according to the approved curriculum.

• Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans for classroom teaching.

• Guide students in Qur’an recitation, daily prayers, duas, and Islamic moral values.

• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.

• Conduct regular assessments, including class tests, oral exams, and assignments to evaluate student performance.

• Prepare examination questions and evaluate answer scripts as assigned by the school authority.

• Participate in organizing Islamic programs such as Milad Mahfil, Qur’an recitation competitions, and other religious activities.

• Support and participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the institution.

• Maintain student attendance records and monitor academic progress.

• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ academic performance and behavior when necessary.

• Follow institutional policies and contribute to maintaining the reputation and discipline of the school.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the school authority.
