1.    You will be responsible to:

i.         Prepare course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial and practical classes, extension teaching, related research and cooperative field experience.

ii.       Evaluate the students’ achievements and maintain their cumulative records,

iii.    Supervise and guide students’ works and activities inside and outside classrooms,

iv.   Identify academic problems of individual students and assist in their solution,

v.    any other duties as may be assigned by the authority.

2.      As per the IUB faculty manual, 40% of your work commitment is research out of which you are required to publish a minimum of one indexed journal article or book chapter in internationally reputed venue during each year of your service with IUB on an average.

3.      Apart from teaching and research, your responsibility will include: taking examinations, submission of grades on time, attending faculty meetings and assisting the management in various academic and student related activities. The University expects that you will not reschedule your classes / examinations without prior intimation to the Dean of the School/ Head of the Department.

4.      A faculty member is required to be present on campus for a minimum of 40 hours per week and a minimum of 6 hours per day when the University is officially open.

5.          Besides teaching, you will have to undertake scholarly research activities and field training of students.

6.          You may be called upon by the Vice Chancellor/Management team to provide specific service or assume supervisory role for academic and extra-curricular activities.
